Barr Kroter is a photographer whose work explores the relationship between people, landscape, and the experience of moving through place. Working primarily with analogue photography, his practice is shaped by long journeys, walking, and extended periods of observation. His projects often emerge from travel and immersion within particular environments, documenting landscapes, communities, and quiet moments of everyday life. Through a slow and reflective approach, his photographs examine solitude, presence, and the subtle ways in which people and places influence one another. Originally from South Africa with roots in Israel, and currently based in London, Kroter continues to develop long-form photographic work rooted in movement, landscape, and lived experience.
